Product Description
Outdoor aerial optical fiber cable is a kind of transmissions cable which is especially designed to be hung on the poles. Abiding by the existing overhead principles, aerial optical cable is commonly applied to WAN/LAN telecommunication. Different types can be installed as either catenary or self-supporting.
Outdoor aerial optical fiber cable is a kind of transmissions cable which is especially designed to be hung on the poles. Abiding by the existing overhead principles, aerial optical cable is commonly applied to WAN/LAN telecommunication. Different types can be installed as either catenary or self-supporting.
The fibers are placed in a loose tube made of high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. A steel wire locates in the center of core as a metallic strength member. The tubes (and fillers) are stranded around the strength member into a compact and circular cable core. After PSP is applied around the cable core, this part of cable accompanied with the stranded wires as the supporting part are completed with a polyethylene (PE) sheath to be figure 8 structure. This kind of cable is specifically applied for self-supporting aerial installation.

The cable section is "8" shaped.
Product features
Accurate fiber excess length ensure a good performance of tensile
strength and temperature.
High strength loose tube that is hydrolysis resistant and special
tube filling compound ensure a critical protection of fiber.

PSP enhancing moisture-proof
The steel strands are self bearing and easy to install, so as to
reduce construction cost.
Fill up the water blocking ointment by way of process and block the
whole section of the cable unit.
Control of residual length of optical fiber
After cable formation, the additional attenuation of the fiber is
better than 0.02dB/Km, and the dispersion value is unchanged.
The temperature range is -40 C ~+70 C.
