double jacket AT outer sheath
Description:
All Dielectric Self-Supporting Optical Fiber Cable (ADSS) is a kind
of non-metallic optical cable, which is composed of all dielectric
materials and contains necessary supporting system. It can be
directly suspended on power poles and towers. It is mainly used for
communication routes of overhead high voltage transmission system
and can also be used for other purposes. Communication lines under
the aerial laying environment such as lightning multiple zones and
large span.
ADSS cable is loose tube stranded. Fibers, 250μm , are positioned
into a loose tube made of high modulus plastics. The tubes are
filled with a water-resistant filling compound. The tubes (and
fillers) are stranded around a FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) as a
non-metallic central strength member into a compact and circular
cable core. After the cable core is filled with filling compound.
it is covered with thin PE (polyethylene) inner sheath. After
stranded layer of aramid yarns are applied over the inner sheath as
strength member, the cable is completed with PE or AT
(anti-tracking) outer sheath.
ADSS optical cable product characteristics:
Optical fiber cable adopts PE or AT sheath, suitable for different
grades of voltage.
Light weight and small cable diameter, reduce ice load, wind effect
and load on tower and support.
Large span and maximum span of 1000 meters.
The imported aramid armoring technology has greatly improved the
tensile capacity of optical cables.
Precise control of fiber length and cable stranding pitch ensures
that the cable has excellent tensile properties and temperature
characteristics.
