Detailed introduction to Bimetal thermometer/industrial thermometer:

WSS bimetallic thermometer is a kind of field checking and measuring instruments for temperature from -80°C to +500°C of gas, liquid and steam applications, and with field indication function as well. It is characterized by waterproof, anti-corrosion and vibration proof. With the advantages of mercury-free, stable performance and long service life, it is widely applied among petroleum, chemical, machinery, ship-building, power generation, textile, printing & dying and wine industries etc.

WSS bimetallic thermometer is mainly composed of temperature sensor element, support tube, connection device, indication dial and etc. By its structure, it can be classified to four types: axial type(angle), radial type, 135°type and universal style; By its function, it classified into common type(single indicator), electric contact, transmission and luminous forms.

Technique Parameter
Bimetallic thermometer has three forms by the different gauge enclosures and protection tube connection methods as axial type(enclosure and protection tube at the same axial direction), radial type(enclosure meets protection tube at right angle), and universal style(flexible connected );
Accuracy: Class 1.5
Enclosure DN, measure range, graduation value, protection tube diameter, insertion depth and mounting thread as per the stipulation of right table.
Time constant cannot exceed 30 seconds for φ6 protection tube; and not exceed 60 seconds forφ8 andφ10 protection tube.
Protection tube material is stainless steel, PN 6.4 MPa;
For electric contact bimetallic thermometer, the max voltage is 380V; working current is 100mA (non-inductive load). Working voltage 36V or 24V is recommended.
