Let me explain GOB. GOB stands for glue on board, which is a popular technology recently used to protect SMDs, by filling some kind of glue on the PCB board to form a certain barrier for the SMDs. It is transparent and will not affect the light of the SMDs. I accidentally dropped a few LED panels, (tell me I'm not the only one who did this!) Fortunately, they were GOB modules, and guess what, after testing, these panels are perfect as usual. In addition to the supreme protection of glue, another wonderful thing about GOB is that it makes the surface cleaning much easier, just wipe it with a slightly damp cloth. Many people may worry about how to repair a damaged SMD? What I want to say is that it is not rocket science, and technicians can do it as easily as repairing other SMDs, just a few steps of digging and filling glue. GOB is perfect for asterisks with a pitch of about 1.5mm or more.
