1.Introduction

The characteristics of commercial pure or low alloy nickel are very useful in many fields, such as chemical

processes and electronics.Nickel has some resistance to various reducing chemicals, but there is no

substitute for caustic soda.Compared with nickel-based alloys, commercial pure nickel has higher

conductivity and thermal conductivity, higher Curie temperature and better magnetostrictive performance.

Annealed nickel has low hardness, good ductility and flexibility.These characteristics together with its good

welding performance make the metal easy to be processed and formed.The hardening rate of nickel is

relatively low, but it can reach the medium strength level and maintain its ductility by cold working.

Nickel 200 (N02200) pure Nickel alloy it has good mechanical properties and excellent resistance in many

corrosive environments.Other useful features of the alloy include its magnetic energy, magnetostrictive

energy, high thermal and electrical conductivity, low gas content and low evaporation pressure.The

corrosion resistance of the nickel 200 makes it particularly useful for applications that require purity

in products such as food, artificial fibres and caustic soda.Corrosion resistance is also widely used in

structural applications when corrosion resistance is the main consideration.Other USES include chemical

delivery drums, electronic and electrical components, aerospace and missile components.
