Working principle

The portable belt flaw detector is a new generation of short-wave radiation detection equipment in Mitech.Which is generated by the built-in high-voltage emission device short-wave radiation (spectrally similar to the natural X-ray),through the collimator to limit the emission beam, penetrate the measured belt into the short-wave radiation sensitive flat-type image intensifier,The use of different density substances on the short-wave radiation absorption rate is different from the steel cord and the belt inside and outside the defects of abnormal imaging on the image intensifier screen, and then converted into a visible view of the belt to achieve the nondestructive testing of the belt.

Operation

Preparation before use

• The instrument of the load voltage is 75 kv, current 0.4 mA, on this condition, beyond the scope of biggest image taking plane is 30 mm, allowing the biggest air kerma is 150 mu Gy/h. For X-ray leakage,it has adopted a series of strict and cautious effective protective measures, including ray source of lead shield, like before and after the intensifier of protective lead plate, lead glass screen window and collimator device, so you can use handheld without any special protection;
• When using AC or DC, be sure to put the power switch in the "|" position, if in the "O" position, the machine can not be used;
• Before each use, first,you need to check the host collimator whether there is a clear deviation of the angle and the monitor is damaged glass;
• The machine is equipped with two batteries and a charger. When charging, plug the charger first, the indicator light should be double green, then put the battery into the charger, the indicator light will be red, until the red light turns green that the end of the charge. Normally, each battery is fully charged for 4-5 hours.

Operating process

• Open the switch button, when detecting,you need to continue to press and hold the button, then the yellow light on the host light, after a few seconds (filament warm-up) fluorescent screen, you can observe the image in real time;
• Even low doses of this product, radiation is still present, the shorter the better detection time, the proposed no more than 60 seconds. In the continuous work of more than 60 seconds, the instrument will automatically power off to achieve protection. At this point to release the button for 5 seconds, press the button again to re-open the work mode;
• Should be used as far as possible to keep the parts like a stiffener, away from the tube parts, the better the fit, the more clear the image.
