Drop Cable
Access network fiber optic drop cable (indoor wiring) is to put fiber optic unit in the center, on both sides is
two parallel nonmetallic reinforcing element (FRP) or metallic strength member,finally extrusion black or
color polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or low smoke halogen-free flame retardant (LSZH) sheath.
Features
- Special high bending radius optical fiber, provides wider bandwidth, enhance the network
- transmission performance;
- Two parallel FRP or metallic strength member so that the cable has good compression
- performance, protect the fiber;
- Simple structure, light weight, strong practicability;
- The unique groove design, easy to peel, convenient connection, simple installation and maintenance;
- Low smoke halogen-free flame retardant polyethylene sheath or flame retardant PVC sheath,
- environmental protection.
- Can be matched with a plurality of field connector, can be terminated at site.
- Due to its soft and light, it is widely used in access network; so it is also called indoor access
- network butterfly cable, and due to its shape called butterfly optical cable, figure 8 cable.
