2. Introduction

The cabinet is one compartment cabinet. The cabinet cooling use air conditioner and heat exchanger, to ensure the equipments operate normally at stable temperature range, so as to make the service life of the equipments much longer and their performance more stable.

3. Features

• The cabinet is dustproof, sunproof and rainproof, which is used in outdoor environment.
• Cabinet cooling: heat exchanger and air conditioner. (Other cooling option: fans). MTBF≥50000h
• The layout of the cabinet is reasonable, which will facilitate cable access, fixing and grounding. There are entrance holes individually for power cable, signal cable and optical cable.
• All the cables used in the cabinet are made from flame retardant materials.

4. Applications

The DDTE081B Outdoor Power Supply Cabinet is mainly used in wireless communication base station, such as 4G system, communication/network integrated service, access/transmission switching station, emergency communication/transmission, etc.

5. Description

(1) Applicable environment conditions:

Operating temperature: -40°C ~ + 55°C

Storage temperature: -50°C ~ + 70°C

Transport temperature: -50°C ~ + 70°C

Relative humidity (RH): 5%~99%

Air pressure: 62kPa ~ 101kPa (similar to 0m ~ 5000m altitude)

(2) Material: good quality galvanized steel

(3) Surface treatment: degreasing, derusting, rustproof phosphating (or galvanizing), powder coated.

(4) Cabinet load bearing: ≥600kg

(5) Ingress protection: IP55

(6) Flame retardance: comply with GB5169.7 test A

(7) Insulation resistance: the insulation resistance between grounding devices and cabinet body parts is not lower than 2×104M/500V(DC).

(8) Withstand voltage: the withstand voltage between grounding devices and cabinet body parts is not lower than 3000V(DC)/1min.

(9) Mechanical strength: each surface can bear upright pressure >980N; after the door is open, its outer end can bear upright pressure >200N.

(10) LED lamp, LED lamp sensor, smoke sensor, door sensor and temperature & humidity sensor are installed at the top of the cabinet.

(11) Rectifier system, PDU and environment monitoring unit are installed on 19” rack.

(12) The cabinet includes one air conditioner and one heat exchanger, installed on front door.

(13) The cabinet includes rubber base plate, for installation on transport telecom tower trailer.

(14) Cable Inlet

Feeder cable and other external cables all use bottom wiring method.

(15) Grounding Protection

The cabinet includes grounding copper bar with anti-corrosion coating. There are enough screws for wiring connection terminals.

The metal part of the cabinet should be interconnected and be connected with grounding bar. Connection resistance between any two points is lower than 0.1Ω.

Protective earthing of other equipments inside the cabinet should be connected to the grounding bar.

Damage resistance of the theft proof lock meets GA/T 73-1994 “Mechanical Anti-theft Lock” class B requirement, supporting padlock.

(17) Connection and Fastening

Use anti-loose threaded connection as structure and bearer connection. Anchor bolt for fixing cabinet use hot dip galvanized bolts.

Door hinges use inner hinge mode.

(18) Appearance and Surface Treatment

Cabinet surface coating is outdoor special powder coating, with white gray color (PANTONE 428C). The coating complies with GB/T 3181-2008 requirement.
