The AirPrime MC9090 with Audio Mini Card is a compact, lightweight, wireless UMTS and CDMA based modem. Their wireless UMTS-based modem provides data connectivity on HSDPA and HSUPA, WCDMA, EDGE, GPRS and CDMA EVDO Rev A, 1X networks as enumerated below:

The MC9090 audio mini card also provides GPS (1575.42) and voice (serial digital audio) functionality.

The MC9090 uses an SL9090 module mounted on the MC_SL adapter board. All software applicable to the AirPrime SL9090 embedded module are also applicable to the MC9090 mini card. For more information, refer to section 15.2.1 Sierra Wireless Documentation.
